Hello! I am sorry I do not speak spanish but hopefully someone can help.
Me and my family came to Spain in September for a long holiday and we rented a holiday house. We made a contract for 8 months and we payed 2 months rent worth of deposit and one month´s rent so three months rent alltogether. Unfortunately my son had a serious allergic reaction to the local water. He was all covered in rash, no good response for the treatment and we were forced to move out. My son is only two years old and his skin was horrible. We notified the landlord and moved out but the landlord now won´t give us our deposit back. Is it really legal? If I am forced to move due to serious health problems related to housing do I still get treated as a contract- breaker?
Thanks and please help. It is a big amount of money and my landlord is not helpful at all.
